Position Description

 

Have you ever thought about shifting the paradigm for how companies find, evaluate and buy enterprise software? The Aras Product Innovation Platform coupled with our open source approach is fundamentally changing the game.

 

In this new role you will be responsible creating and delivering a best-in-class global sales enablement program.  You will sit at the intersection of Product Marketing and Sales, driving understanding of Aras’ solutions and products.  You will design the curriculum to include learning paths oriented to sales, sales management and partners.  You will be supported by specialists in Product Marketing and Product Management.

 

The core measure of success will be a demonstrated improvement in the depth and degree of enablement, leading to increased prospect engagement and productivity of the global sales and partner teams.

 

What You’ll Do

 

  • Work with Product Marketing to define sales enablement priorities, including tools, format and delivery methods.
  • Spearhead development of and implement innovative sales and partner team training, including positioning, solution storytelling, capabilities and value propositions
  • Identify knowledge and skill set gaps and roll out training that addresses those challenges
  • Translate industry/business needs into sales training programs, consistently updating and refreshing methods
  • Manage the rollout, adoption and knowledge transfer of sales tools
  • Identify training opportunities and make recommendations on process improvements
  • Design and implement metrics to ensure consistent evaluation and measurement of training and retention efforts
  • Prepare and give business reviews to the leadership team regarding progress and metrics

What You Need

 

  • 10+ years of successful experience in sales and sales enablement in an enterprise software company
  • Down-to-earth interpersonal skills with ability to make connections and collaborate
  • Proven track record of metrics and quota obtainment
  • Understanding of enterprise PLM software gained from experience with products such as Windchill, Enovia / Matrix One, Teamcenter or Agile PLM preferred
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following would be beneficial: systems engineering (inc. MBSE), 3D visualization, embedded software, configuration and BoM management, change control, product quality, IoT
  • Ability to create attractive and compelling training materials with above average presentation skills
  • High level of energy, enthusiasm, initiative and responsibility
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, ideally in an engineering or scientific or discipline
  • Fluency in English - written and spoken; other languages a plus
